This pillow cover was handwoven following an intricate process. From preparing and dyeing the yarn, arranging them to produce the desired design and operating the wooden handloom with the synchronized movement of both hands, using techniques passed on through generations. 

The weaves of the Yakan serve as a testament to the resourcefulness of the tribe. This variant of the Yakan further highlights the tribe's connection with nature, showing patterns that appear to replicate the landscape of the world around them.
