

Exclusive handmade bag from Chamula in Chiapas, Mexico
Very exclusive bag, woven by hand on a traditional loom from black Chamula wool*.
After that it is hand embroidered by de indigenous women from Chamula, with thread that is coloured with natural products like, flowers, seed, etc.
*In Chamula they have sheep in 3 unique breeds: White/black, grey and reddish brown.The Sheep are double coated and often have 2 sets of horns. The undercoat is spun into fine strong warp yarns, while the coarse long undercoat is used for weft. (Maya Threads, A woven History of Chiapas)
